Firstly, this planner is created with mums in mind.

We have lots of little inspirational quotes to help us get motivated and inspired to be our best selves every single week. I just love opening up my diary and seeing something motivational-it gets me going and helps me feel like what I do is important. (because it is, Mama!)

Secondly, it has a lot of little features you can use to help reach your goals. Here are a few examples:

  • Ensure you drink enough water with these cute little colour-in water droplets at the bottom of each day
  • Use the habit tracker to keep up with your health goals throughout the day, week, month and year
  • Use the monthly goals to plan, set goals and achieve them
  • Track your spending and keep on top of your budget with the monthly budget tracker
  • Never forget a birthday card again with the birthday reminder list (I definitely need this one)
  • Use the monthly calendar view for a quick overview of your month's plans, holidays, etc.

I did wonder whether I would have enough room to write in the daily spaces, as they are a week to a double-page spread.

However I really do have enough room-and if you want more, they have a daily planner which has more space for just this reason!

Why does this contribute to making this the best 2021 planner for mums?

As a mum, we can struggle with things like:

  • 'Fuzzy brain', baby brain or just that tiredness-induced brain fog which can result in not being organised, unproductive and unable to remember what we're doing
  • Not having enough time to actually get much done-or done in the way we want to
  • Feeling 'hounded' by our gorgeous children's needs and wants

All of these things mean that we can feel guilty, unproductive, embarrassed and even like a failure as a parent. (Read more about Productivity and parenting here>>)

As an early years parenting coach, I help mamas feel more success in the daily, more gratitude and be equipped with strategies to manage their small child's emotions and behaviour-for this very reason.

I do this because I know exactly how it feels to feel this way, to feel overwhelmed and have brain fade on the daily with my children, and consequently I now use a planner and lists to keep myself organised more effectively!

One way you can feel more successful is to use this planner for busy mums to get your tasks down on paper-even planned out in appropriate time slots.

Decide on the best time for your day, sit down and plan the top three priorities for your day. Having 3 top priorities for the day is (usually) achievable.

It means if you want to get the floor mopped, those birthday cards sent, and your groceries picked up, then you can pop them on there and remind yourself that if these are done today, you are succeeding!

This builds motivation and means you are more likely to continue through your day feeling much better about yourself!

If you have small children and want some help with a behavioural or emotional issue, or want to feel more confident as to your own abilities as a parent, grab a free 20-min 'Can I help you' call here.

What do you usually put into your planner first?

My list starts with those every-year dates I need to remember, like birthdays and wedding anniversaries (mine)!

Then I usually go straight to Google for the term dates for the year, because now my eldest are at school and kindergarten, life is governed by their schedules, pick-up times, drop off, and remembering which days are dress-up days, excursions and all the things.

I really, really don't like forgetting things-and in the craziness of mum life, I was. Since using planners I have found it much easier to remember and be proactive with more than just your children!

This planner is the best 2021 planner for busy mums because it literally covers everything possible that a twenty-first century mama needs-and can actually help you set and achieve what you want to achieve.

And that, is worth it's weight in gold.
